A Letter from Our Director of Nursing

I find fulfillment and joy in being the director of nursing at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation. I am proud of our team of nurses and certified nursing assistants who pride themselves in excellent patient care!

Our nursing department offers short-term rehabilitation following a hospital stay and long-term care in our home-like setting for your loved one who needs greater care than they can receive at home. Our nursing services include medication management, wound care, antibiotic therapy, enteral nutrition, daily shift assessments, and caring assistance with daily living activities.

The CDC’s recommendations support our facility infection control plan, NC Department of Health and Human Services, APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology), and AHCA (American Health Care Association). The Nursing Administration Team encompasses two SPICE (Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology) certified Infection Preventionists who work hard to remain informed and proactive.

Our Medical Director Timothy Turbett, MD, is one of the best health care providers that I have had the pleasure to work alongside. We are very blessed to have him be part of our Glenbridge team. We also have an in-house Nurse Practitioner, who rounds twice weekly, in which our residents, staff, and family members have built very close rapport.

Feel free to have family members and friends call to schedule a visit with your loved one, arranged by our social worker. (Social distancing and masks are required to protect our residents and community).

If you or a loved one need skilled rehabilitation or are considering long-term care options, please call Glenbridge today, and speak with our social worker, admissions coordinator, or myself. We would love to tell you about our facility and answer any questions you may have!

Sincerely,
Alyssa Rainbolt, RN, IP
